Allen Keys, Hacksaw (if fitting a new fork),
Bearing Grease
Time: 1-2 Hours
There are a
number of reasons you may want to remove your
front fork from your mountain bike, such as installing or
upgrading parts (disc brakes, shock absorbers etc)
or if the fork is damaged and needs replacing.
It's not the easiest of maintenance tasks though;
so you should you really only attempt this if you
are completely confident in your own ability. Your
local bike shop is the way to go if you're in any
doubt.
